Red Tie Jazz event hosted by Northwestern Oklahoma State University Woodward campus

WOODWARD, Okla. (Jan. 20, 2018) Northwestern Oklahoma State University alumni and friends are invited to an evening of live music on Thursday, Feb. 1 at 6:30 p.m. at the Woodward Conference Center, hosted by the Greater Woodward Northwestern Alumni Task Force, the Northwestern Foundation & Alumni Association, and theWoodward Industrial Foundation.Max Ridgway_RTJ

The annual Red Tie Jazz even is an opportunity for alumni and friends to reconnect while enjoying wine, hors d'oeuvres and live performances provided by Susan Duel and Max Ridgway. Both Ridgway and Duell are adjunct instructors of music at the Northwestern Alva campus.

"In addition to the wonderful music provided, guests will also enjoy the local talents of Northwestern music alumni and the Woodward Civic Opera Group," Said Dr. Deena Fisher, Dean of the Northwestern Woodward campus. "After remarks from President Dr. Janet Cunningham, the group will be performing numbers from their upcoming production of Beauty and the Beast.

"The Red Tie Jazz is always a fun event. All friends and supporters of the Northwestern Woodward campus are invited to join us whether you are an alumni or not. It's our way of sharing fun, food, entertainment and fellowship with the Northwestern area community. I hope to see you there!"

Admission to Red Tie Jazz is free. Wine, non-alcoholic beverages and hors d'oeurves will be served at the event. The Woodward Conference Center is located at 3401 Centennial Drive in Woodward.
