Harrison Hull makes a comeback

Harrison was recruited to play baseball at Northwestern after he finished his Associate's degree at Northern Oklahoma College in Enid, Okla. His first semester of fall 2016, during the Fall World Series, he collided with the right-field wall. He broke the c6-c7 section spinal section in his neck and had two surgeries to fuse together his neck with titanium plates.

During recovery, Harrison was not sure if he would ever be able to play baseball again. At one point, he remembers not being able to lift a 5lb dumb bell. But he made his comeback for the Rangers in less than two years, with his first NCAA homerun happening in February 2018.

Harrison is a Mathematics major and Physics minor set to graduate in December 2018. He has been on the Vice President’s Honor Roll and President’s Honor Roll throughout his time at Northwestern. His spring 2018 semester, not only did he make a comeback for Rangers Baseball, he achieved a 4.0 GPA in a course load that included upper-level math and physics courses.
